Spine Surgeon in Novato uses Minimally Invasive Procedure to get Retired Physician Out of Pain and Into Plane for Africa Vacation

This retired Marin County physician was not going to let a serious lumbar problem get in the way of her active lifestyle.

My patient was enjoying an avid career as an international photographer but had to consider stopping becasue of severe back and leg pain. We discussed spinal fusion as the typical treatment for her problem of lumbar stenosis and spondylolisthesis, but it was not the right choice for her.

We used a keyhole minimally-invasive, outpatient surgery to decompress the spinal canal, and she was immediately back in action. Watch the video to check out the whole story.
